New for 2020 we are proud to announce our in-house customisation service. We can print your logo or message on most of our hangers, any of our garment covers and quite a few of our other storage and clothes care products. Branded garment covers and hangers look superb, they add a touch of class and they make your company stand out from the crowd. We use the latest ink technology to produce vibrant colours including silver and gold and because we do everything here we can turn around orders in as little as 2 to 3 days.
Pad printing (also called tampography) is a printing process transfers a 2-D image onto a 3-D object. This is accomplished using an indirect offset printing process that involves an image being transferred from an image plate via a silicone pad onto a product. Pad printing is used for printing on otherwise difficult to print on products in many industries including medical, automotive, promotional, apparel, and electronic objects, as well as appliances, sports equipment and toys. Of course in our case it is used mostly for putting highly detailed images onto curved clothes hangers.
Laser engraving is the practice of using lasers to engrave an object. The technique relies on a low powered CO2 laser moved over the product by motors that are controlled by specialist image software. As the laser travels it vaporises the product (in our case usually wood) at the point of contact. The depth and heat used can be controlled to correspond with different types of wood we use. The finish can range from restrained elegance to a bold hot-iron branded look. We can also produce laser engraved adhesive plaques which look like brushed gold or silver. Used widely in the trophy and awards engraving industry we think they look great on garment hangers to!
These labels are made by first of all taking a sheet of adhesive backed gloss paper and die cutting it (like an avery label sheet) to the shape and size of the required stickers. The logo or design is now applied to the sheet using a colour printer. The sheet containing the multiple images is now laid flat and a small precisely measured amount of clear acrylic gel is applied to each sticker by an array of dispenser nozzles one sheet at a time. The gel sits on the sticker like a raindrop and cools to give a flexible 3D appearance. These stickers are a cost effective way of getting single full colour branding on any product. They can turn an industry standard hanger into a display item that reinforces your brand.
Screen printing is a printing technique where a tensioned aluminium mesh is used to transfer ink onto a flat surfaced products such as suit covers, duvet bags and t-shirts except in areas made impassable to the ink by a blocking agent. A squeegee type blade or a scoop spreader is moved across the screen to fill the open mesh apertures with ink, and a reverse stroke then causes the screen to touch the substrate momentarily along a line of contact. This allows the ink to come in contact with the product and be pulled out of the mesh apertures as the screen springs back after the blade has passed. One colour is printed at a time, so several screens can be used to produce a multi-coloured image or design.
Using the latest commercial embroidery machines we can supply high quality multi-colour designs on many of our fabric products. Embroidery produces a high quality professional finish and is frequently used for workwear, baseball caps, polo shirts etc. On suit carriers and garment bags it produces a superb textured finish that stands out and gets noticed.
